The program is based on a core IOC Contract Management Course with extended coverage in the following areas:

  1. Contract Optimization – From strategy through tendering, negotiation, management and close-out focusing on value drivers and how to establish and manage improved outcomes.
  2. Contract Simplification – How to reduce administrative burdens while retaining controls, best practice contract management and KPI design.
  3. Practical Tools and Concepts – How to support improvement across the contracting cycle with a focus on experiential learning and techniques including Contract Strategy, Should Cost Modelling, Transformation levers and Risk Identification supported by exercises and group discussions.
