Mr. Seyi Osuntokun is a highly experienced Consultant in the Oil & Gas and Nuclear Power Industry and Associate Instructor affiliated with IHRDC. Presently, Mr. Osuntokun is the President of SONICS Services and Consulting which he founded in 2014 and his primary focus is on pipeline automation and pipeline engineering consulting in the Oil & Gas as well as Digital Instrumentation and Controls consulting in the Nuclear Power industry. Additionally, Mr. Osuntokun focuses his time as a Board of Advisor member to Sentinel Devices, a Georgia Institute of Technology startup in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Mr. Osuntokun’s professional background recently joined IHRDC to provide program facilitation and instruction for Oil & Gas and Nuclear Power courses.
Mr. Osuntokun has degrees in Computer Science, Physics, and Electrical Engineering from Dalhousie University and Ryerson University in Canada and has a storied career in Instrument Testing and Commissioning in Fossil and Hydro Energy in Canada and the US; all aspects of Digital Instrumentation and Controls in the Nuclear Power Industry in Canada, the US, and France; and pipeline automation and pipeline engineering in the Oil & Gas Industry in the US. Mr. Osuntokun worked for United Wire and Cable (Canada), Adwel International (Canada), Atomic Energy of Canada (Canada), AREVA (US and France), and Colonial Pipeline (US). Mr. Osuntokun commenced his consulting career supporting a myriad of clients including AREVA/Framatome, Duke Energy, Arizona Public Service, ExxonMobil, Phillips 66, DT Midstream, ONEOK, Arseal, GE Vernova Hitachi, NuScale, Par, and Paragon. Mr. Osuntokun’s interests and expertise include nuclear power, digital control systems, pipeline operations/automation, and artificial intelligence/machine learning.
