Ian Julian is an Instructor at IHRDC. Before retirement, he spent the last 5 years in commercial roles at Saudi Aramco. He led the deal for Aramco’s acquisition of LANXESS’s 50% share of ARLANXEO valued at 1.5 billion euros and negotiated off-take agreements for the expansion of Aramco’s JV Cracker with TotalEnergies. Ian was also a member of the due diligence team for Aramco’s purchase of SABIC and its Shareholder Affairs Team following the acquisition. Prior to joining Aramco, he held progressive roles in strategy, commercial management, consulting, sales, marketing, and manufacturing at Shell, CMAI, and Monsanto for over 25 years. Ian holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
