Ric Hartung is a Senior Consultant & Engineer and is the founder and general manager of Process & Safety Solutions LLC, located in Pearland Texas.

Ric holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University. Ric has trained and mentored numerous Compliance Health & Safety Officers (CHSO), while with the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) for 5 years. He has over 30 years of industry experience as a Process Design, Safety Instrumented Systems Design Engineer, and in Process Safety. As an OSHA compliance officer and consultant, he has completed over 300 OSHA Petroleum and Chemical National Emphasis Program (NEP) inspections, audits, and has conducted numerous process safety training sessions both in the U.S. as well as throughout Europe and Asia.
