IHRDC is pleased to announce that the company’s founder and President, Dr. David Donohue, has been named as the recipient of the Charles F. Rand Gold Medal awarded by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE). The award is being made in recognition of Dr. Donohue’s distinguished achievements in the petroleum training industry and contribution to the advancement of SPE. Presentation of the award is scheduled to be made during the SPE Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition September 26-28 at the Dubai World Trade Center in Dubai, UAE.
The Charles F. The award reinforces the fact that Donohue’s career has been marked by his leadership and support for innovation in the oil and gas industry. From books to video training to e-learning, his passion for delivering world-class content to industry professionals on a global basis has driven the growth of IHRDC, and the company’s programs and modules have impacted the lives of countless petroleum industry professionals around the world.
“I am extremely gratified to receive this award and the recognition of my friends and colleagues in SPE’s petroleum engineering community,” said Dr. Donohue. “My career in the energy business has been very rewarding, and I would like to express my thanks to the many industry professionals, customers, and employees around the world who have contributed to my success in building both our company and the relationships that have meant so much to me and my family.”
